Call for Abstract Submission


We invite proposals for papers, workshops, and posters within the scope of the conference themes but not necessarily limited to the following areas:    

  • Linguistic Research
  • Language Teaching and Learning 
  • Innovation in Language Teaching and Learning Language Policy  
  • Intercultural Education and Research 
  • Literary Research 

  

Important dates

Rolling abstract submission (early submission is encouraged); please submit by the deadline: 15 September 2024. 

Notification of acceptance of submissions by 30 September 2024.

Abstract submission guidelines

Your abstract should consist of:

  • a summary of the presentation: capturing the key idea, the research question(s), theoretical framework, methods of research, and the tentative conclusions
  • unpublished original research
  • 3–5 keywords that describe your research
  • a maximum of 300 words, excluding keywords and references
  • the title, name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), country, and email address(es) above the abstract  

Submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed.

It is envisaged that selected articles will be published either in a separate book by one of the high-ranking Publishing Houses or in a special issue of the Vilnius University journal ‘Verbum’.

All articles will be double-blind peer-reviewed.

The article submission deadline is 1 October 2024 for publication in 2024

and 1 March 2025 for publication in 2025. 
  
Article reviewing and preparation for publication timeline will be announced by 22 October 2024
