Nemira Mačianskienė

Nemira Mačianskienė is a full professor at the Institute of Foreign Languages at Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania. Her research interests include language policy, multilingualism, plurilingual approaches, language education, teaching English as a foreign language, intercultural communication and learner strategies. She has taught courses in multilingualism in Europe, cross-cultural and intercultural communication, foreign language learning and teaching methodology, innovative language learning strategies, plurilingual approach in language teaching and learning. She has extensive experience in project management, content development and coordination and has been actively involved in a significant number of Erasmus and other European projects funded through EC. She is also the founder and the editor-in-chief of the international journal Sustainable Multilingualism included in Scopus and other databases, published by Sciendo.
